Community Involvement

I have worked at the grass roots level on numerous local, state and federal issues. As your Representative for the House District 71, I will continue to be a staunch advocate for low taxes, economic prosperity and constitutionally limited government.

  • Organized opposition to T-SPLOST, traveling around the state as a keynote speaker against the initiative
  • Organized a large group of volunteers to distributeover 12,000 anti-T-SPLOST flyers throughout Coweta County
  • Invited as the key-note speaker and consultant to various local municipalities around Georgia on the subject of Business Pre-TAX (Impact Fees)
  • Helped local municipalities attract new industry and create jobs by eliminating impact fees
  • Spoke at Coweta County commissioner meeting to stop the passage of an over-reaching ordinance that would require permits for private parties held in citizens’ private homes
  • Participated in support of the Senoia Charter School rally at the Board of Education meeting
  • Outspoken advocate for education and additional STEM classes (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics)
  • Organized grassroots effort to stop a landscape ordinance that would have allowed the county to charge property owners for mowing lawns and trimming bushes
  • Serves on the National Leadership Council for the TEA Party Patriots
  • Serves as Executive Coordinator of the Coweta TEA Party Patriots
  • Serves as Precinct Chairman for the Republican Party
  • Serves as Executive District Director for Georgia For FairTax
  • Past Member & Volunteer with the Newnan Kiwanis Club
  • Past Member & Volunteer on the Marketing Committee of the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce
